Port Washington Police Chief James Salerno reports the details of an arrest of three men in connection with an occupied burglary that occurred on Monday, October 16th, 2017 at 2:24 a.m. in Port Washington.
According to police, the three defendants Desmond Murchison 111-46 166 Street, Jamaica NY, ?Shamiek Hytmiah?88-53 179 Place, Jamaica NY, and Constantini Cheese 809 St Nicholas Ave, New York NY armed with handguns, entered a home on Davis Road which was occupied at the time. They demanded cash and jewelry before fleeing the home.
A subsequent intensive joint investigation was conducted by Port Washington Police, Nassau County Robbery Squad and Third Squad Detectives which led to the arrest of the 3 individuals.
All three are charged with Burglary 1st degree and held on bail.
